Public Service
Thakur Singh consistently advocates for what is right, not only for his peers but for anyone he feels has been treated unfairly. On November 14, 2024, at 5:30 pm, he addressed the LAUSD school board, supporting the Greening and Climate Resilience Project and allowing virtual teachers to work remotely. By supporting these initiatives, he is standing up for environmental sustainability, arguing that teachers commuting long distances to teach on Zoom contribute to pollution unnecessarily when students are learning remotely. His efforts reflect a commitment to equity and environmental stewardship, setting a powerful example for others.
