Virtual Academy Students’ Meal Options Starting November 2.

Dear LPSVA Families,

We are pleased to share that beginning Monday, November 2, 2026, LAUSD-enrolled Virtual Academy students may access breakfast, lunch, and supper at no charge at select LAUSD school cafeterias on campuses with Virtual Academy Welcome Centers.

Families may choose from ANY select participating Welcome Center locations based on their child’s age group/grade. Please contact your Virtual Academy Welcome Center to confirm the locations appropriate for your student and the designated meal service times.

How it works:
Visit an eligible participating Virtual Academy Welcome Center with a parent or guardian during the designated meal service time (see attached schedule).
Virtual Academy staff will escort your student to the cafeteria. Please let the cashier know your child is a Virtual Academy student; student identification may be requested.

After receiving the meal, your student will be escorted back to the Welcome Center to eat. All meals must be eaten on the LAUSD campus.
We are glad to make this additional resource available to our students and families. Please review the attached flyer for meal times and locations.
