The Standardized Assessment Test (SAT) is a college entrance exam.  Students are tested in mathematics and evidence-based reading and writing, and both sections have a grading scale of 200-800, meaning that the total maximum score that can be obtained is 1600.

What’s on the SAT?

• 3 hour test

• Most questions are multiple choice, some math questions ask you to write in the answer and select it

• No penalty for guessing. If you are not sure of the answer, it’s better to guess than leave the response blank.
