Join us in honoring civil rights icon Dolores Huerta on her 95th birthday! A tireless advocate for farmworkers, women’s rights, and social justice, Huerta co-founded the United Farm Workers alongside César Chávez and coined the rallying cry, “¡Sí se puede!” Her lifelong dedication to equity and empowerment continues to inspire generations. Today, we celebrate her remarkable legacy and the powerful impact she has made on our world. ¡Feliz cumpleaños, Dolores!

Each day is a chance to celebrate your amazing teachers. ✅ Monday – Nominate your teacher for the Super Teacher Hall of Fame ✅ Tuesday – Send a positive message or affirmation ✅ Wednesday – Submit a short thank-you video ✅ Thursday – Create a digital thank-you card ✅ Friday – Shout out your teacher’s superpower in class

Attention Rising 10th - 12th graders. Want to accelerate your Summer? Region North is excited to partner with Mission, Valley, and Pierce (MVP) Colleges to bring you advanced Summer college classes. Courses in Math, G Electives, and VAPA (F requirement), in addition to career pathways and other enrichment, will be offered. Please see the flyer for program dates. You MUST pre-register to take a summer college course. You have one week to register; the deadline is Monday, May 5th. There will be mandatory information sessions to register for college classes. Here is the link to register: Region North/MVP Summer 2025 College Program

Accelerated Math Pathways and UC/CSU Transferrable Courses! Many are available asynchronously (flexible scheduling) Some courses have augmented points for GPA and earn LAUSD credits! Looks great on college applications, and courses are FREE!
